"Moroccan black soap, also called beldi , has its origins in the ancient tradition of the Moroccan hammam.

Used for centuries by Berber women, this soap is an integral part of Maghreb beauty rituals, combining purification of the body and relaxation of the mind.

It is made from crushed black olives macerated in salt and potash, which gives it its paste-like texture and dark color. Natural and biodegradable, it contains no chemical agents.
